Can I be really honest with all of you? I really disliked January. I'm so glad it's over. This past month went way too slow and we were stuck inside way too much. Okay, February wouldn't normally be any different, but I have a vacation booked at the end of this month that helps put a spring in my step.
I'm determined to start this month off on a better foot. I'm planning outings to the mall with the kids once a week so Josiah can get his toddler energy out. I'm making sure I visit with friends and be in community more often with those I love. I'm praying big prayers for things I want to see God do for our family in the very near future ::cough:: new house ::cough::. I'm also looking forward to enjoying these things:
Rebekka Seale's February Desktop Calendar to brighten up my computer space.
Influence Network Classes to pump me up, as usual.
Jessi's Easy Tortellini Soup for lunch.
Oana's Kiddo Tee DIY for Lucia.
This skirt for my Florida trip.
A Daily Something's portfolio for inspiration. Rebecca is amazing (And I'm lucky to be able to say I shared a hotel room with her at The Influence Conference).
What's putting a smile on your face this month, besides Valentine's Day candy?

Where in Florida will you be visiting?!
ReplyDeleteFort Myers! My parents have a condo down there that we'll be staying at for a couple days. I'm pretty excited about it. Do you live down there? I actually lived in Orlando for 10 years of my childhood. Florida has a big piece of my heart!
DeleteI do! I live in Melbourne:) I've only lived here for the past seven months and am definitely looking for different places to adventure to. If I find myself near Orlando I may have to ask you for some favourite stops! Still haven't made it to Disney World yet!
DeleteHave a lovely trip. Wish we could meet up!
I am also glad that January is over! Bring on Spring!!!
ReplyDeleteColletta
Cheers to February! It's going to be a great month :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the desktop calendar! It's adorable and makes me happy! Happy February to you too :)
ReplyDeleteaw, florida trip! are you going to see Linds? or is there a chance you guys drive/fly thru Atlanta! i wish i could see your face. miss you, girl! :)
ReplyDeleteNo, I think she'll still be in Maryland with her family. But I told her I'd love to get down there again in March to celebrate our birthdays. I think you should drive down and celebrate with us. ;)
DeleteToo cute. Love that desktop! Need to put that on my work computer. Thanks for sharing the fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree- I despised January! We watched WAY more Mickey Mouse Clubhouse than I would like to admit, and I am sick of being cooped up! I am loving iced black tea lately-- weird, since I am such a coffee girl!
ReplyDeleteYes! I've been on a huge tea kick this past month, as much of a coffee freak I usually am. haha We've been watching way too much Cars. Josiah knows all the sound effects for every scene. I feel so guilty. haha
Deletebecause I'm clueless fashionwise, what kind of top would you wear with that skirt? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would just wear it with a plain t-shirt, tucked in! Like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/120823202475336345/
DeleteJanuary seems to go by so slowly for us to! But now that it's February, spring is getting closer! Yay. And yay for family vacation fun!!
ReplyDeleteLove that precious smile :)

ReplyDeleteFunny, that's how I feel about February, consistently every year - it's a tough month for me, as I start jonesin' HARD for warmer, spring weather! But I like your attitude to face it with a smile. It may be half-over, but better late than never, right? :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and that skirt! How could you not be happy wearing that?!
