new jeans

We broke out our new fall digs this week. Lucia got her first pair of jeans. And I'm not sure she's too thrilled about them. You see, last year, there was absolutely no way we would have been able to fit her chunky thighs into a pair of jeans, so she pretty much lived in sweat pants or leggings. Unfortunately, Chia has now lost most of what's left of her rolls. The only upside? We can now squeeze her into her very first pair of skinnies.

Um, yeah. THAT. Oh, you think your heart just skipped a beat? Imagine being the lady behind the camera. I can't believe I made her... with the help of Joe. And God...

Lucia will definitely need time to get used to her new stiff pants. They are not as easy to run in, obviously. And you KNOW a cloth diaper is not going to fit in those things. Luckily, we only wear clothes when out in public.

Aside from their new fall attire, I think the kids are really enjoying the cooler weather. It's been a hot summer and we're looking forward to cool walks with hats, sweatshirts, and blankets. Who's with us?

Also, can someone please explain to me why boys are so weird a.k.a. awesome??
