If it can hold my cell phone, wallet, and chapstick, then it's perfect.

Today, I am excited to introduce you to Johanna and her cute handmade boutique, Beso Handbags!

These handbags are designed and handmade personally by Johanna, using some of the most unique and funky vintage fabrics I've ever seen. Seriously, these handbags are totally my kind of purse!

A little bit about Johanna and her shop:

"I call my line beso handbags. Beso is the Spanish word for kiss. Spanish and English are spoken in our home, and beso is a word we use all the time. Often throughout the day, we ask the kids for besos, or kisses, and tell them we love them. Beso is also a word that just reminds me that I love what I do, and I'm now doing what I've always loved.

All of the handbags that you see are my own designs. This fall, I'm so excited to incorporate my own collection of vintage fabrics into the mix. Each bag ordered will feature a beautiful fabric from the 1950's, 60's or 70's and will be accented by luxurious faux-suede in a complementing color. Each vintage fabric is available on a very limited basis, so if you see one you love, snatch it up before its gone."

Something new and fun for Beso Handbag customers: 

If someone has an out-dated piece of clothing, or an old suit coat, a vintage quilt or tablecloth, they can give it new life by having it made into a beso bag... cool, huh? 

Johanna recently had a girl contact her about making a custom bag. Her mother died 4 yrs ago and she had an old skirt of her mother's that was just hanging in her closet. She wanted Johanna to make a bag for her and each of her two sisters, using the fabric from her mother's skirt. What a perfect gift idea, right?
